Escape

A busy October kept me from posting an entry here in my blog. Thirty minutes to 3 hours of sleep everyday, overnights in my room for thesis and other academic stuff must be blamed for this (just kidding).

Thank God I'm done with schoolwork for this semester. I'm done with the "BK Timog" moments and overstaying in our library's discussion rooms. Enough with the rants on my thesismates. Enough with the sleepless nights and sleepy days. I hope my efforts will reflect positively on my grading sheets. But the important thing is, semestral break na.

First thing to do: clean my room. My room became a hotel for some "studious" public administration students cramming for their theses and feasibility studies (refer to the previous post). My room served as a dining room, discussion room, internet cafe, sleeping room, sala, name it. So I spent my first day of sembreak cleaning my room, arranging the readings I collected and read (yes, I did read those), and fixing my stuff.

What I'm looking forward for this sembreak is the CMT retreat in Tagaytay. At last, I can breath fresh air, contemplate, and have fun as well. I want to assess myself if I am really heading towards my goal (wait, what goal?).

Sana this sembreak would be a real break for me, like an escape from reality. Or rather, a break that's like an eternity.
