Favourite Things for the Twenty-fifth

Every year, I post a wish list for my birthday. These lists I made include from simple stuff to things that none of my friends can afford (like the Hermes watch). Sad to say, I got none from the lists I made. But that doesn't stop me from making lists every year. I don't mind if i get none from that list. It just feels good to make a list and compare it with last year's. The comparison shows how my interests change (or the lack of it).

So here's my 2012 Favorite Things (aka My Birthday Wish List)

1. Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I've read the book many times from an e-book, but I want, no, need a hard copy. By the way, this is included in last year's list, which means I really dig it.

2.Herschel Little America Ruck Suck

3. Starbucks Tumbler (Blue). I've been working for like 2 years but still, I haven't got one.

4. Wishing Lanterns. I'm turning silver this year, so this year must be a memorable one, a milestone.

5. Marshall Headphones. So I don't have to join their Facebook contest by posting a self portrait channeling a corpse.

6. To participate in a school sporting event, to see a movie, to share interests, to talk about life. Again.

7. A visit to The Mind Museum. For more learning and science stuff.

8. That hopeless place. To find something.

9. Burberry Summer for Men. This is lately a rare find. Mine's empty so I need a new one.

10. A surprise I guess. A good one, because the past birthday surprises I got aren't.

Take Care Now

"So I could have something to say to you instead of the 3 words that are... that are killing me. The 3 words that you know I feel but I can't say them, because it would be cruel to say them, because I am no good for you. I don't want to torture you. I don't want to look at you longingly when I know I can't be with you. So, yeah I'm smiling, and I'm saying take care now. I'm letting you off the hook. I'm trying, I'm trying so hard to let you off the hook. I'm trying to make it right. What I did to you. Can't you see that? I'm just trying to make it right."

-Owen Hunt, Grey's Anatomy Season 5 Episode 21
